I am first and foremost a dork... I study and draw cartoons for a living and will continue to do so until someone realizes that I'm making this "I know what I'm doing" attitude up. I am currently working as a storyboard revisionist and have aspirations of eventually becoming a full fledged board artist some day, but even getting to a revisionist position was never intentional. I kind of accidently fell into storyboarding when the extremely talented and generous Erik Wiese gave me a shot on The Mighty B! cartoon. Even though i went to school for background painting, after one look at some random Post-It doodles, Erik decided I would become a storyboard revisionist instead. And I thought, "Well, who the hell am I to turn down artistic work?" So for the first couple of weeks, I waited to be fired, but with everyday, I learned more and more from the talented likes of Eddie Trigueros, Justin Nichols, David Gemmil, Carey Yost, Bryan Arnett and Alex Kirwan. After my nerves settled, I realized that I really enjoyed working in the story department and have decided that Erik was right, I should be a board artist... So I am eternally grateful to Erik and the entire Mighty B! crew. After the B! was canceled, I was forced to find another gig and was fortunate enough to land onto the new Nickelodeon Production, "Robot and Monster." So I've been working here as a revisionist for the past month or so and again find myself amongst an array of extremely talented and generous artists, now with a CG perspective. Lastly, I try to live my life by an insightful quote and I challenge you to strive for the same... "Take your work, but never yourself seriously..." -Chuck Jones. So far i've found that he actually knew what he was talking about... Thanks for checking my stuff out!!!!
